A Burning Hot Summer (2012) : Philippe Garrel was born in 1948 in Boulogne-Billancourt in France, the son of noted stage and screen actor Maurice Garrel. He wrote and directed his first short, Les Enfants Désaccordés, in 1964, and made his first feature, Marie for Memory, in 1967. In 1982, Garrel won the prestigious Prix Jean Vigo for the film L’Enfant Secret; he took the Perspectives du Cinéma Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1984 for Liberté, la nuit.  A Burning Hot Summer (2012)  films frequently premiere at the Venice film festival, where he won the festival’s Silver Lion in 1991 for J’entends Plus la Guitare, the FIPRESCI prize in 2001 for Wild Innocence and its award for Best Director in 2005 for Regular Lovers. A Burning Hot Summer (2012) Movie.
