Greater Glory (2012) : As I noted on Friday, For Greater Glory debuted in theaters this weekend.  It‘s a film telling the true story of Mexico’s Cristero War for religious freedom that left nearly 100,000 dead.  Greater Glory (2012) was made with limited funding and had a limited release release this weekend on just 757 screens nationwide.  (For a little perspective, the weekend’s No. 1 picture Snow White and the Huntsman played on 3,773 screens.)  Nevertheless, For Greater Glory still managed to finish in the top 10, bringing in an estimated $1.8 million in box office receipts.
